As a part of Academic activity, Department of Information Technology, SRMIST,
Ramapuram organized an outreach programme on “CAREER GUIDANCE PROGRAM”
on 23rd February 2023 from 03.00 pm to 05.00 pm for the benefit of all the higher secondary
students of “St. Anne’s Matric Hr. Sec. School” Perungalathur. It was organized as a part of
brand building activities which are being regularly conducted by the Department.
The program started with the Welcome Address given by Mr. R. Sudharsanan, AP/IT.
Following that Dr. P. Santhosh Kumar, AP/ IT delivered the special address. Then he
delivered a technical presentation on the topic of “CAREER GUIDANCE FOR FUTURE
EDUCATION” along with the demonstration.
The presentation gives the full details about the SRMIST Ramapuram Campus facilities
such as academic performance, student achievements, Placement achievements, SAP, Club
activities, etc., Followed by the talk, Dr. P. Santhosh Kumar and Mr. R. Sudharsanan conducted
a Quiz on “General Aptitude” for the school students. Around 50 students were participated
in the program. At the end of the Quiz, top three students were selected and distributed the
winner Certificates for them.
Finally the students appreciated the speakers and our Institute for the wonderful
arrangement. At the end, after the department achievements & alumni testimonial video
presentations, Dr. P. Santhosh Kumar, AP/IT gave the vote of thanks and expressed his
gratitude to the management of St.Anne’s Matric Hr. Sec. School, Perungalathur for giving this
