The Department of Mathematics, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus conducted a skill development program for the students (XII std) of V.Muthaial Pet Higher Sec.School, Thambu Chetti Street, Mannadi on 28.08.2023 at 1:30 p.m.
Mind rejuvenating Exercises and activities were taught to the students. Students were introduced to interesting sessions on Matrices, Probability and its Applications. To repose confidence to face examination, a motivational speech was given to get rid of math phobia. Students participated in all the activities with lot of interest and enthusiasm.
An aptitude test was conducted to sharpen the Mathematical skills. Almost 90 students actively participated in the first round, out of which 10 were qualified for second round. Two students were awarded the first and second prizes respectively at the end of final round.
