Dean E&T in his address appreciated the Women‘s Grievances & Redressal Cell for organizing awareness program on “Health and Hygiene for Women.”
Dr. Geetha Rajan started the session by explaining about Women’s Health and suggested that every woman have to go for regular health check up once in a year. She said maintaining optimum health have to be a goal for all women, which can be achieved by regular exercise, eating healthy food, reducing stress. She spoke about pros and cons of menorrhea.
She explained personal Hygiene and cleansing practices which includes keeping our teeth,hands, nail and body clean. She responded to all queries raised by the participants.
The awareness program on health and hygiene, concluded with vote of thanks proposed by Dr.P. Lalitha. More the 125 women participants took part in this awareness program.
