The session started with the felicitation of the Chief Guest by the Dr. Balika J. Chelliah Associate Professor of Dept. of CSE ,on behalf of HOD of the Department Dr.N.Kannan , followed by the chief guest introduction, Mr. Prem Doss Samuel who is the Senior System Analyst in BA Continuum (subsidiary of Bank of America).He elaborated the students about what data is ,the history of data, the components of data science . He also enriched the students on real time examples with example data sets. Furthermore he also lectured about the importance of DBA and how to data science work in an interleaved fashion he also insisted on how to face job interviews for data scientist or data analyst positions .He also described about identification of data and also difference on supervised ,unsupervised and predictive analysis of data . The session ended with questionnaire and feedback.
