Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized a guest lecture on “Embedded Programming for IoT Devices” on 9th October 2024 from 1.30 pm to 3.30 pm for the ECE students at Block V, AV Hall.
The event began with a welcome address followed by the introduction about the speaker by Mrs.Reshma.P.V. Assistant Professor.
The session’s guest speaker, Dr. R. Thirukkumaran, Head – Research and Development (IoT, SkillsDA- INGU’s Knowledge Academy, Chennai), enlightened the students with an in-depth understanding of key IoT aspects and the programming of IoT devices. The speaker gave the students, a demo session on Integrating sensors with cloud platforms using the ESP32 controller. The session was engaging and interactive, allowing students to explore real-world applications of the IoT concepts. The seminar concluded with an engaging Q&A session, allowing participants to share their insights and clear their queries. Nearly 90 students participated in the event.
