The guest lecture was held on 26th July 2019. Er. Muralidharan from NOUVOCO has address the gathering with many current technological advancements in the civil engineering field. He has shared his experiences working with new technologies. Sir has mentioned about the new cementitious materials like alccofine,micro silica,EPS beads, rice husk and many more. Sir has explained about the outcome of using the above mentioned materials in the field. He has explained about working upon pumping concrete to greater heights; the pro’s and con’s about pumping concrete anti gravity. The special topic was mentioned that was bag concrete; which can be used very conveniently in such a situation where mixing concrete was difficult.
