REPORT OF THE EVENT – Foreign Language Fest ‘24

The Department of English and Foreign Languages at SRM IST, Ramapuram, recently hosted a vibrant and engaging event under the banner of the Foreign Language Club—Foreign Language Fest ’24. This event was a celebration of linguistic diversity, cultural richness, and the global perspective that the club fosters within the university community.
The event saw an impressive turnout, with 130+ participants enthusiastically engaging in the various competitions. The events were not only a platform for competition but also an opportunity for participants to learn from each other and appreciate the diversity of languages and cultures represented at SRM IST.
To honor the achievements of the participants, the top three contestants in each event were awarded medals. The Foreign Language Fest ’24 received overwhelmingly positive feedback from participants, who praised the organization, the range of activities, and the opportunity to engage deeply with foreign languages and cultures. Many participants expressed how the event not only enhanced their language skills but also broadened their understanding of different cultural perspectives, making the fest a valuable and enriching experience.
Overall, Foreign Language Fest ’24 was a resounding success.
