Summary of the Event:
Day 1 (13.09.2022): As a part of the Academic Activity of the Department of IT, Orientation program was organized on 09.09.2022, 13.09.2022 and 14.09.2022 for the first-year students of the Department of IT SRMIST E&T from 09.00 AM to 3.30 PM at Gallery Hall. The Orientation program was held in different session in which 150 students were present from Batch 1(Section A and C) and Batch 2 (Section B). One Session by our alumni, K. Bharat Kumar (2015-2018), Senior Manager, IT, CUB, Chennai addressed the students with various opportunities of IT and shared the journey of the engineering program. All students were much thankful to him for taking out time and helping them out.
Day 2 (14.09.2022): Second day session was started with our alumni B.Anish Kumar (2007-2011) Senior Security Engineer, Freshworks. He addressed the present First Year students. He also shared coming back to a place that shaped the trajectory of his own life is a priceless and unexplainable experience. Our Alumni in one go agreed to be the key speakers for the session. He interacted with the students and gave career guidance regarding higher studies and course-specific information to the students.
