The Department of English and Other Foreign Languages, SRMIST, Ramapuram organized a Faculty Development Program on “How to Publish in High Impact Peer Reviewed Journals” on 20 January, 2021. A team from Elsevier, Mrs. Selin Ruby Francis, Mr. Sangeeth Cecil and Mrs. Kalyani Sridhar, gave valuable and interesting insights on the techniques of writing, developing and submitting a research manuscript, the publication process, organizing one’s research using Mendeley, reference manager, and significant details related to research databases and metrics. The questions posed by the participants were answered by them with practical suggestions and strategies. On the whole, the session turned out to be an illuminating research experience.
