Introduction
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, organized an expert talk on Sustainable Development through Innovation Approach – Low Carbon Economy on 26th February 2025. This event was part of the department’s ongoing efforts to foster a deeper understanding of the crucial role that sustainability plays in shaping the future of our global economy and environment.
The expert talk was delivered by Mr. IA Leo Bernard, Manager, Plant Engineering, Ashok Leyland, Ennore, Chennai, an esteemed professional and thought leader in the field of sustainable development and environmental innovation. Dr K.N.Srinivas, Professor and HOD, Department of EEE, SRMIST (E&T), Ramapuram campus welcomed all students from department of EEE to the expert talk. He also welcomed the Chief Guest Mr. IA Leo Bernard, Manager, Plant Engineering, Ashok Leyland.
HOD/EEE shared the objective and expected outcome of the talk and also shared valuable insights about innovations in Electrical Engineering. He also encouraged the students to transform their innovative ideas in to reality, pushing the boundaries of knowledge and creativity to new heights.
