The Department of English and other Foreign Languages organised an Expert talk on Using ‘Pragmatics and Project-based Learning to teach Academic Writing in a socially responsible Way’ by Dr. Roger Charles Nunn, Professor and Head of the Department of English at the American University of Sharjah on 30th of May 2022 at 2p.m in the virtual mode.
In his talk, he elaborated on holistic project-based learning approach that can be used to support the development of team work, critical thinking, communication and research skills and the possible way to incorporate into engineering curriculum.
