Report on the guest workshop– “Essential Healthcare Insights and Hands on Training for Biomedical Engineers”-Department of Biomedical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram organized on
25.09.24 at Gallery Hall first floor block V between 9:30am-3.30pm.

This event was conducted for the benefit of UG students in the domain of Biomedical Engineering. The event was conducted at Gallery hall- First Floor-Block V, SRMIST. Around 160 participants were benefitted.
The event started with the welcome address by students of the biomedical engineering. This was followed by a realistic presentation by Mr. Praveen Kumar where he explained the various essential health care insights and career opportunities in the sphere of biomedical engineering to Biomedical I, II, III-year students. This event showcased an impressive array of innovative research and creative solutions in the field of biomedical engineering. Followed by this hands-on training were provided to Students on various medical devices demonstrating their working which ranged from cutting-edge biomedical devices to novel techniques in healthcare. The event fostered a collaborative environment, encouraging discussions between students and the guest lecturer. It highlighted the department’s commitment to nurturing research and innovation, providing a platform for budding engineers to gain knowledge and present their ideas. E- certificates were distributed to the students the end of the event. Altogether the session motivated the students to look forward to develop their innovative ideas in Biomedical Engineering profession in the near future and analyse the on growing advancements in the biomedical sector. Vote of Thanks was delivered by student coordinator. Altogether the workshop was well appreciated and much receptive among the participants.
