7.30 p.m. Around 100 participants were benefitted.
The webinar commenced with a warm welcome and an introduction to the department, followed by the Introduction of the Chief Guest by Dr. Ushus S Kumar, Head of the Department of Biomedical Engineering. Dr. B.Pushpa, Assistant Professor/BME and the event coordinator, Briefed about the Chief Guest Dr.Shanmugha Priya R A, consultant Transfusion medicine, Department of Transfusion Medicine kauvery Hospital, vadapalani. Chennai, who then delivered an inspiring address highlighting the growing significance and impact of the biomedical engineering field in blood transfusion.
This webinar provides a platform to discuss advancements in transfusion medicine, quality standards, regulatory frameworks, and the importance of patient-centered care. It is a valuable opportunity for students to gain insights from an accomplished leader who continues to shape the future of transfusion practices in India.We thank all the students for joining us in this academic exchange and extend our special gratitude to Dr. Shanmugha Priya R A for her gracious presence and contribution their knowledge shared to the students.
