In celebration of World Environment Day, the Eco Club of SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Campus, proudly organized a unique initiative titled “Echoes of Green – Plant a Memory, Grow a Legacy.”
This initiative aimed to raise awareness about environmental conservation and the vital role of afforestation in combating climate change. Nearly 30 enthusiastic Eco Club students took part in a tree-planting awareness campaign—right from the comfort of their homes.
Each student planted a sapling in their own surroundings, spreading the message that small actions can create a big impact. Through this simple yet powerful act, they not only contributed to a greener future but also inspired others to follow suit.
The event stood as a testimony to SRMIST’s commitment to sustainability and environmental stewardship.
