SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Digital Communication and Design Club (DCDC) of the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) organised an event named “E-Volution: The Power of Innovation” on November 29, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM in view of Electronic Greetings Day. The event aimed to teach first-year ECE and ECE-DS student’s about the basic networking concepts such as IP addresses, sub-netting, network protocols, and OSI/TCP models. In addition to the technical session, a fun and participatory exercise called “Two Lies and a Truth” was held. This game encouraged participants to disclose one truthful assertion from the given statement which was taken from the topic handled, which increased student engagement, communication, and team building. The event skilfully mixed technical instruction with fun events to foster curiosity and teamwork. The session was ended by Mrs. G. Annapoorani, who emphasized the significance of electronics and the enhanced ease of communication in contemporary times.
OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM:
The event provided students with quality education, offering insights into the latest developments in the core field through engaging activities. Each activity stimulated creativity, encouraged critical thinking, and fostered participant teamwork.
