| The purpose of organizing a drawing competition is to evaluate the knowledge and awareness of students regarding a importance of the ozone layer for life on Earth as well as to encourage their creative expression. | |
Synopsis of the Event
The drawing competition was a commendable endeavor to engage 10th, +1, +2, diploma and UG students in highlights the importance of the ozone layer for life on Earth and the need to protect it for future generations
“Ozone for life” is the slogan for World Ozone Day, which is celebrated on September 16th to recognize the importance of the ozone layer for life on Earth.
It reminds us that not only is ozone crucial for life on Earth, but that we must continue to protect the ozone layer for future generations. And it also provided a platform for creative expression.
The drawings were evaluated based on presentation quality, content relevance, and creativity. The E-certificate will be provided for all the participants.
Dr. V. Jayalakshmi, Associate Professor and Mrs. G. Sudha, Assistant Professor, Department of Physics are the convener of the “Drawing Competition on Ozone for Life”.
