EVENT TITLE: DISCOVERY CHALLENGE: WHO AM I?
Summary of the event
The BioInnovision Club, the technical and innovation-driven club of the Department of Biomedical Engineering, organized yet another successful and stimulating event titled “DISCOVERY CHALLENGE: WHO AM I?” on the 9th of April, 2025. The event aimed to combine technical biomedical knowledge with creative design thinking, encouraging participants to think beyond textbooks and apply real-world insights.
The session commenced with a warm welcome and a brief address by Ms. P. Padmapriya (AP/BME) provided insights into the event structure and purpose.
SAMEER Ahmed (III Year BME), one of the student coordinators, formally introduced the event format and guided participants into the first round.
The event was started by the event coordinators Tejasri (III Year) & Jayashree (II Year) by elaborating the rules of the event. “Discovery Challenge: Who Am I?” was an exciting and interactive game-based event designed to engage participants in the
world of biomedical devices through observation, reasoning, and a dash of mystery! Participants were presented with intriguing clues and visual hints that challenged them to identify various biomedical devices and innovations. With each round, the difficulty increased, testing the players’ critical thinking, technical knowledge, and teamwork.
From diagnostic tools to therapeutic equipment, every clue was a piece of a larger puzzle highlighting the evolution and significance of biomedical technology.
This hands-on event not only sparked curiosity but also encouraged participants to delve deeper into the principles and applications of cutting-edge medical devices— making learning both fun and impactful!
Outcome of the event
The “Discovery Challenge: Who Am I?” event proved to be a highly engaging and educational experience that successfully combined fun with learning. The interactive format allowed participants to explore the fascinating world of biomedical devices in an unconventional and dynamic way.

The event concluded with the announcement of winners by Dr. S.Vinurajkumar (AP/BME). The winners were awarded certificates and recognition for their outstanding performance by the Dr.Ushus S Kumar, Head of the Department.

The session ended with a vote of thanks Devanandsiva (II Year) and a group photograph to commemorate the event.
