International Webinar on Lead Halide Perovskites: Challenges and Opportunities in Light Emission Application
The Department of Physics organized an online webinar on “Lead Halide Perovskites: Challenges and Opportunities in Light Emission Application” on 14 August 2021 (Saturday) between 7:00 PM and 8:00 PM (IST) via Zoom platform. The details of the program are as follows:
The event started with welcome address by Dr. L. Sudha, Professor & Head/Physics. The resource person Dr. Anuraj Kshirsagar, Postdoctoral Associate, Department of Chemistry, Mississippi State University, Starkville, USA has delivered a scintillating lecture on Lead Halide Perovskites and its future Challenges and Opportunities in Light Emission Application. He elaborated on Imperfections in Semiconductors, device doping and fabrication techniques of LEDs.
We received overwhelming registrations, 170 participants including Faculty, Research scholars and UG/PG students from all over India attended the Webinar. In the interactive session, the participants raised questions to the speaker and discussed about the topics. The participants gave very good feedback to the resource person. The resource persons thanked the management and organizers for arranging the virtual symposium.
The session was chaired by Dr. L. Sudha, Hod/Physics. Dr. K. Subramanian, Assistant Professor (Sr.G), proposed the vote of thanks. This successful event was coordinated by Dr. M. Dhanasekar Assistant Professor (O.G) & Dr. K. Subramanian Assistant Professor (Sr.G).
