To help the students to handle stress effectively, the Department of Mathematics, SRMIST, Ramapuram has organized an Expert Talk on “How to Handle Stress?” on 20.11.2021 exclusively for I B.Tech students.

How to Handle Stress
Dr.V.Smitha Ruckmani, spoke about emotional illiteracy triggering depression, impatience, anger, anxiety and many factors which creates emotional imbalance, and how to overcome such situations. She suggested self-analysis to be made on the aspects which created the imbalance. Meditation and Yoga can help to overcome such situations.
The students actively participated during the interactive session where Dr. Smitha answered all queries posted by students.
Dean E&T appreciated the department for organizing the event and said that the key to quick stress relief is to experiment and discover the unique ways that work best for you.
