Participant perspective – Before selecting the topic for this event team Andropedia conducted a small survey among the high school students and found out that Machine Learning is one of the most popular domain of computer science, among the high school students.
The event was conducted on the same and the flow of event was as follows,
- Brief Introduction on Ai and Machine Learning
- Purpose of the event and discussing the future of machine learning with the students.
- Getting through with the prerequisites.
- Deeper insight and practical applications.
- Live demonstration.
- Resource sharing from Microsoft Azure.
Response: There were 58 active participants on ZOOM conference and 40 active participants on Google Meet which was streamed parallely using the ZOOM overlay. This was done for security of sensitive data of the students studying in Indian Defence related schools like Navy Children School and Army schools. Thus a total participation of 98 students was observed.
The event went as per our expectations and we were able to meet all the requirements requested by the high school students. Since this was a brief event, a hands on session wasn’t provided for containment of the knowledge and keeping the idea of machine learning clear. Although the participants were provided with some extra perks and resources in the later part of the event along with certificates .
Here is the snapshot of the responses from the poll that was conducted after the event
