The much-anticipated CODE WARS 2025 kicked off at 8:00 AM on 25th March 2025 with great enthusiasm. The event began with an insightful introductory speech by the Chief Guest, Dr.N.Bhalaji, Senior consultant, IITM Pravartak who shared his experiences and words of encouragement, inspiring the students to push their boundaries and innovate fearlessly. His presence set the tone for a day filled with creativity, technology, and collaboration. The occasion was graced by esteemed dignitaries Dr.M.Sakthi Ganesh Dean( E&T), Dr. Balika J Chelliah VP- Admin, Dr. Subhashini VP-Academic, Dr. Roopa VP-Research and Dr. Sree Rathna Lakshmi HoD/ECE.
As the clock ticked, students immediately delved into the task of building innovative projects in various domains, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), Robotics, Arduino, and Raspberry Pi. The participants showcased their skills and determination by working on groundbreaking ideas such as the Blind Electric Vehicle, Agriculture Pest Management Systems, and Fire fighting Robots, among others. These projects highlighted the brilliance and potential of the young minds at the event.
At 10:00 AM, the Guest of Honour, Ms. Suganthi Alagumani, Vice President JP Margon Case, graced the event with her presence. She took time to visit the students’ working spaces, offering valuable inputs and guidance. Her feedback was instrumental in helping the students refine their ideas and enhance the technical aspects of their projects. The interactions with Ms. Suganthi Alagumani were both insightful and motivational, adding immense value to the participants’ learning journey.
As the day progressed, more distinguished guests visited the Hackathon. At 3:00 PM, Mr. Mr.Srinivasan, Founder and director, Polenza Tech Soultions Pvt Ltd arrived to witness the progress of the students and provided thoughtful suggestions to further improve the projects. His expertise in the field of technology and innovation resonated with the participants, inspiring them to think critically about their work.
Later in the evening, at 5:00 PM, Mr. Joshua Sugumar, Senior Project Manager-Cyces Innovation Labs LLP made his visit, interacting with the students and providing his expert feedback. The much-awaited demo sessions began at 6:00 PM, where the students showcased their hard work and innovations. The atmosphere was filled with excitement as each team presented their projects, demonstrating the fruits of their labour. Experts from Pantech Solutions were present to evaluate the projects and assess the quality of the code. Their constructive feedback helped the students improve the technical aspects of their designs.
The prizes were graciously presented by representatives from Zebronics, adding a sense of prestige to the event. The 1st Prize was won by Thirugnanam R, T Shiva Shangaran of RMK Engineering College. 2nd Prize won by Visalini R, Vignesh S, Subratha A of Agni College of Technology and 3rd was shared between Bavadharika P, Deepak Chandar T, Aishwarya Nachammai N of Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai & Sai Roshan .D,Anand Santhosh, Manoj.M of Agni College of Technology.
