CAMPUS LIFE EVENTS -UNIVERSITY LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION
In light of India’s presidency at the 2023 G20 summit, Campus Life of SRM IST, Faculty of Engineering and Technology organized University level Painting Competition.
THEME: Vasudhaiva kutumbakam or One earth one family one future

Students from assorted branches of Engineering & Technology and Science have participated besides enthusiastically drawn their painting in the G20 theme. In their paintings, Students proclaim the importance of all life—human, animal, plant, and microorganisms—and their interdependence on Earth and in the larger cosmos. LiFE (Lifestyle for Environment), with its related ecologically friendly and responsible behaviors, both at the level of individual lives and national development, leads to internationally transforming acts that produce a cleaner, greener, and bluer future.
In their paintings, they also portrayed the strong message of India’s G20 Presidency, which is that, we must strive for just and equitable growth for everyone in the globe as we get through these difficult times in a way that is sustainable, all-encompassing, responsible, and inclusive. They exemplify an approach to our G20 Presidency that is distinctly Indian in living in tune with the local ecology.
The participants have given 2 hrs to complete their painting. Prizes and Certificates were distributed to the winners Monish Suresh and B. Madhumitha by Dean (Campus Life) who have done best painting in G20 theme “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam or One earth one family one future”. We thank the management for providing immense support to make this competition a grand success.
