Summary of the Event:
The Department of Biomedical Engineering organized an interactive and
creativity-based event on 4th February 2026 at Block III, 4th Floor. The event
aimed to enhance students’ quick thinking, speaking skills, and creativity through
engaging challenges.
The event was convened by Dr. Ushus S. Kumar, Head of the Department (I/c),
Biomedical Engineering, with Dr. R. Indhumathi (AP/BME) serving as the
faculty co-coordinator. S. Shreya (III Year) and Sai Mayu S (II Year) acted as
student coordinators, while Dhaamini.U (III Year),Monishwaran P (II Year)
and Suvetha A(II Year) served as event coordinators. Students actively
participated with enthusiasm, creating a lively and intellectually stimulating
environment.
Concept and Design of the Event:
The event was designed to promote quick thinking, creativity, and effective
communication among students. It focused on spontaneous speaking and
imaginative expression through interactive challenges. The structure encouraged
participants to adapt instantly to changing situations while maintaining clarity and
confidence. The event combined fun with skill development in an engaging and

Round 1: Switch Talk
In this round, participants were asked to speak on a given topic and suddenly
switch their opinion or viewpoint midway. This activity required quick thinking
and mental flexibility, as participants had to adapt instantly to the change. The
round tested their presence of mind, clarity of thought, and confidence in public
speaking. It also encouraged spontaneity and effective verbal expression under
time pressure. Overall, the round helped participants improve adaptability and

Round 2: Story Twist Challenge
In the second round, participants were challenged to narrate a story that
unexpectedly changed its genre or theme. They had to modify the storyline
