Engineers must be critical yet creative; curious yet capable; as well as ready to handle the constantly changing world. Using innovation, creativity and a wealth of knowledge, engineering graduates are impacting the world unlike any other. The world is changing, and engineers are the ones behind so much of this development. The majority of today’s services and products had some element of engineering involved in their conception at least, paving the way to long, fulfilling and healthy lives for the people influenced by them.
• The main objective of the course is to bridge the gap between subjects studied at pre-university level and subjects they would be studying in engineering.
• To provide adequate time for the transition to hard-core engineering courses.
• Focus on fostering a strong sense of ethical judgement and moral fortitude.
• Applications based self-learning and intermingling of a large cross section of students from vastly varying backgrounds.
• The students will be equipped with the knowledge and the confidence needed to take on bigger challenges.
• Nurture a deeper understanding of the local and global world and our place in at as concerned citizens of the world.
• Interactive and active learning by doing have been weaved into the bridge course.
• In an advanced technological world, we need engineers to bring ideas into reality. By applying the principles of mathematics and science, engineers develop solutions to the world’s biggest technical issues.
