Introduction
On 24-02-2024, Dr. S. Saravanan and Dr. S.R. Sitaaraman, Assistant Professors, Dept. of EEE, SRMIST (E&T), Ramapuram had the privilege of being the guests at Sri Bhuwaneshwari Matriculation School’s Robotics Exhibition. The event aimed to showcase the innovative projects and talents of students in the field of robotics. As the guests, our role was to observe, interact, and offer insights into the projects presented by the students and to outreach as a part of SRM Group of Institutions, Ramapuram, Chennai.
Exhibition overview
The exhibition hall was well-organized, with each project displayed strategically, allowing for easy navigation and exploration. The projects ranged from simple robotic models to more complex and sophisticated designs. Students demonstrated a remarkable understanding of robotics concepts and applications, showcasing their creativity and problem-solving skills.

Program Structure and Activities
After the inauguration ceremony, Dr. S. Saravanan delivered the keynote address in which he explained about the Robotics and recent trends in Robotics. Then He explained about the SRMIST (E&T), Ramapuram and also shared about the latest trends in conducting activities in SRMIST (E&T), Ramapuram using Artificial intelligence. Finally, He welcomed all the participants, Parents and teachers to join SRM for higher studies.
Interaction and Feedback:
Dr. S. Saravanan and Dr. S.R.Sitaaraman engaged in meaningful conversations with the students, discussing the technical aspects of their projects, the inspiration behind their ideas, and the potential impact on various industries. Offering constructive feedback, we aimed to encourage their passion for robotics and provide insights that could further enhance their projects and also explained the students about the research ongoing in the field of Robotics in SRMIST (E&T), Ramapuram.
Conclusion:
The Robotics Exhibition at Sri Bhuwaneshwari Matriculation School, Padi, Chennai, was a testament to the dedication and creativity of the students. As a guest, we were inspired by the enthusiasm and skill exhibited by the students and we motivated students to continue their progress in the field of robotics by joing the SRMIST (E&T) family.
