Industry-Institute Collaboration Initiative
To address the current demands of the healthcare industry, the Department of Biomedical Engineering at SRMIST, in collaboration with Capgemini India Ltd, has launched a two-credit value-added course in Requirement Engineering and Medical Device Regulations in 6th semester and Verification and Validation of Medical Devices in 7th semester. Students who take this elective will be given preference by Capgemini during the recruitment process.
Moreover, major software companies and research-based organizations are actively seeking candidates with BME backgrounds.
