RESOURCE PERSON DETAILS:
Ms. Amisha Arun is our Alumni, 2024 Batch (B.Tech ECE), working as Technical Product Specialist, SABRE, Bangalore. She has been in this role for the last three months after the successful completion of a seven months Internship. She is skilled with coding in JSON and XML.
SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at SRMIST conducted an Alumni Talk on October 9, 2024, that focused on the value of internships and the relationships they help to build. The program’s goals were to inform participants about the importance of internships and the priceless connections they create. Ms. Amisha Arun emphasized that internships are an excellent way to stand out in the job market and to exhibit one’s commitment to professionalism, excellence, and self-improvement. She talked about her experiences at the interview and at work. She exhorted the students to engage fully in the curriculum’s activities. Students were invited to ask questions and receive answers during the interactive Q&A session that took place after the event.
OUTCOMES OF THE PROGRAM:
Through conversation with the guest, students were able to learn about the importance of internships and the invaluable relationships they form in a variety of fields.
