The Department of ECE conducted an “Alumni Talk on Career Planning: Academia To Professional life“for III Year ECE Students.
The event “Career Planning: Academia To Professional life” had Namratha, an SRM Ramapuram alumni currently working as Associate Software Engineer in Bosch Global Software Technologies. Namratha talked about learning VLSI Design and testing methods during college and how it helps in her current Job. She mentioned her focus on Electronic and Mixed-Signal Circuit Design and Embedded System Design, which is important for jobs in the semiconductor industry. Attendees learned about the need to keep learning, stay updated on new tech, and connect with others in the field. People asked questions about career paths and gaining skills. Namratha’s advice inspired attendees to work hard and stay determined in pursuing their career goals. The event offered valuable guidance on succeeding in the industry. Overall, Namratha’s insights helped everyone understand the opportunities and challenges in this field, boosting their confidence to pursue careers in it.
The Alumni event is conducted on 6.04.2024 from 10.00 am to 11.00 am and where 51 students participated in this event. Students were gained the knowledge in VLSI Technology and Embedded System. The session is ended with students feedback and vote of thanks by Dr.P.Ramani, Assistant Professor(SG)/ECE
