Mr.Nirmal Raj, an alumni of SRM Ramapuram with an ECE 2022 Batch from SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, is currently working as Engineer in Renault Nissan Technology Business Centre India Pvt Ltd,Chennai. His areas of interest include VLSI Design using Cadence and Design Flow in Testing and Embedded System Design

Summary of the EVENT :
The Department of ECE conducted an “Alumni Talk on Career Planning : Academia to Professional Life“for III Year ECE Students.
The event “ Career Planning : Academia to Professional Life ” had Nirmal Raj, an SRM Ramapuram alumni currently working in RNTBCI,Chennai . Nirmal talked about learning VLSI Design and testing methods during college and how it helps in his Career. He mentioned his focus on Electronic and Mixed-Signal Circuit Design, which is important for jobs in the semiconductor industry. Attendees learned about the need to keep learning, stay updated on new tech, and connect with others in the field. People asked questions about career paths and gaining skills. Nirmal’s advice inspired attendees to work hard and stay determined in pursuing their career goals. The event offered valuable guidance on succeeding in the semiconductor industry. Overall, Nirmal’s insights helped everyone understand the opportunities and challenges in this field, boosting their confidence to pursue careers in it.
The Alumni event is conducted on 12.08.2024 from 10.40 am to 11.30 am and where 60 students participated in this event. Students were gained the knowledge in VLSI Technology and placement. The session is ended with students feedback and vote of thanks by Dr.P.Ramani, Assistant Professor(SG)/ECE
