As a part of First Year Orientation Program, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Department of Computer Science and Engineering has organized the Alumni Interaction on 13-September-2022 at 02:00pm to 03:00pm. The session is entitled with “INNOVATION IS PLENTY; INITIATION IS THE KEY”.
Mr. Prahitya Mahavir, (SRMIST, CSE Alumni Batch 2013-2017), Entrepreneur – Version-MOD, Commerical Model, Mr. India 2022 finalist, Chennai, shared his campus life memories and his past academic experience with the students. He discussed with the students about how to be confident? The first step in innovating is to be confident about your abilities. 2. Find great material. A key element of innovation is its raw material. In fact, there are some who say there is nothing new. The poet and philosopher Audre Lorde said, “There are no new ideas, only new ways of making them felt.” 3. Involve others. No innovation can survive today without a group of supporters. 4. Marshall support. Beyond the development process, innovations also require support from a broader group. 5. Learning, reflecting and prototyping. Every great innovation requires prototyping. The process to put innovation into practice and observe the outcomes, learn, reflect and improve takes specialized skills—all part of successful innovation. 6. Continuously improve. Today’s best innovations are never finished. They benefit from reviews, revisions and releases. Finally, he thanked Dr. M Murali Krishna, Dean(E&T), Dr. K.
