SUMMARY OF THE EVENT:
The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering and the Department of Alumni Affairs at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram, successfully organized an online Alumni Talk on 17th March 2026.
The session began with a warm welcome, followed by the introduction of the resource person. The event featured Ms. Shonal Prince, Project Management Trainee at Sanmina India Pvt. Ltd., and an alumna of the 2021–2025 batch. She delivered an insightful talk on “Alumni Experience: Learning from the Best,” sharing her academic journey and transition from campus to corporate life.
Ms. Shonal Prince provided valuable insights into her role in the New Product Introduction (NPI) team at Sanmina, a global Electronics Manufacturing Services company. She encouraged students to focus on skill development, adaptability, and continuous learning to succeed in the industry.
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A session, where students actively engaged and clarified their queries regarding career opportunities, industry expectations, and skill enhancement.
A special note of thanks was extended to the faculty coordinators for their efforts in organizing the session. The constant support and guidance of Dean Dr. M.Sakthi Ganesh, and the encouragement of the Head of the Department Dr. Sree Rathna Lakshmi, played a vital role in making the session successful. The enthusiastic participation of students contributed to the overall success of the event.
