The Faculty Development Program commenced with the soulful invocation of Tamil Thai Vazhthu, setting a reverent tone. Dr.N.V.S. Sree Rathna Lakshmi (HoD/ECE) extended a heartfelt welcome, emphasizing the transformative impact of AI and its wide-ranging applications. 177 participants were present
Dr.S.Poornima, M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology, Bengaluru, Karnataka the esteemed chief guest, addressed the participants, emphasizing AI’s profound role in daily life. She highlighted how AI seamlessly integrates into everyone’s experiences and urged engineering professors to cultivate a passion for innovation, inspiring them to develop at least one AI model.
The Resource person of the programme Dr. Chayadevi, Department of Information Technology, Vasavi College of Engineering, Hyderabad expertise in Artificial Intelligence and its real-world implementations delivered a session on ‘Introduction to AI and its Applications in Agriculture’.

- Signoff & Verification: AI accelerates equivalency checking, timing analysis, and power optimization, ensuring robust final designs.
