The IT IA team – Ramya, Charan, and Sachin won First Prize in the Crossword Puzzle Competition, showcasing exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Their quick reasoning, teamwork, and creativity helped them excel through challenging word clues with precision.

Students Achievements

The team of Hari Sudhan, Pooja, Akash, and Shankari (II Year C) secured the 11th Place at DevHouse25’ 36-Hour Hackathon held from 4th to 6th April 2025.Their project “Busify” offers live bus tracking, NFC verification, emergency communication, and sensor-based safety alerts for efficient student transport.

Raghul Raja V of III Year IT-A, secured 6th Place at the South Asia & Indian Bodybuilding Competition held on 25th January 2025. His outstanding performance showcased discipline and athletic excellence, bringing pride to the department and institution.

Mr. Muthuvel of I Year IT -E was honoured with the Rajya Puraskar Award at the 2025 Bharat Scouts and Guides Foundation Day ceremony held in Chennai.

Joe Felix Arock J, Arunan K, and Annanya S of I Year IT won 3rd place at the Saveetha University Symposium Technical Quiz, the only first-year team to advance to Round 2.

The IT IA team – Ramya, Charan, and Sachin won First Prize in the Crossword Puzzle Competition, showcasing exceptional analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Their quick reasoning, teamwork, and creativity helped them excel through challenging word clues with precision.

Saran Kalimuthu of III Year IT, an RSFI-registered athlete, excelled at the 20th Pudukkottai District Roller Skating Championship – South Zonal Selection held on 14th September 2025, winning 4 Gold Medals.

Mohammed Faridh S, Vignesh Kumar M, Aashiq Ajmal Khan A, Lakshmi Narayanan K.Y. of III IT B have received the Best Paper Award for their outstanding work titled “Weather Sense: A Python-based AI-Powered Live Weather Forecasting System“ held on 4th & 15th April 2025 at 2nd International Conference on Advances in Engineering and Medical Sciences 2025 held at International School of Technology and Sciences for Women, Rajhamundry, East Godavari.

Sri Hari Kumar S of IT IV Year B, won the Best paper Award for the paper titled “Openflow SDN Integrated ANPR traffic Intelligence system with AI- Driven real time vehicle monitoring” presented in 7th International Conference on “Engineering & Advancement in Technology 2025” organized on 27th & 28th June at Malla Reddy college of Engineering, Secunderabad.

Totally 14 teams and 10 nations participated in the mixed division. In that India won the third place (bronze medal) 2019.
