SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, Department of Language, Culture and Society organized a One-Day Faculty Improvement Programme on “A Guide to Publishing Articles in Scopus-Indexed Journals” on 28th March 2026 from 10 am onwards in the BMS Block, 4th floor, lab 6. The programme was conducted by distinguished resource persons, Dr. Harihara Sudhan, Associate Professor, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattakulathur campus and Dr. Jayanthi Rajendran, Associate Professor and Head of the Department, Easwari Engineering College, Ramapuram, Chennai who shared their expertise on various aspects of academic publishing.
The sessions focused on research writing techniques, selecting appropriate journals, and understanding effective publication strategies. The objective of the programme was to enhance the research quality of faculty members and to increase their success rate in publishing in reputed journals. The speakers provided valuable insights and practical guidance, enabling participants to better understand the nuances of academic writing and publication processes.
